The garden centre that started it all…
Purpose built in 1983, we started our journey as a small plant nursery supplying plants from a single greenhouse.
Over the years the business has grown into a well-known, multi-department garden centre – home to a two-storey restaurant and our pets and aquatics centre.

Our Restaurant
Newly refurbished in 2024, our bright and spacious restaurant holds 180 people and boasts a sleek and modern look, with touches of bringing the outside in. Our menu showcases the finest quality, local ingredients transformed into homely and hearty dishes.
We also have a dog-friendly outdoor terrace – it’s even heated and covered so it can be enjoyed all year round. Or perhaps relax on our upstairs, indoor balcony overlooking our plant area.

Looking for somewhere for your next event? Our balcony, overlooking our stunning plant area, is perfect for everything from formal meetings to hosting local groups.
Seating up to 30 people, this light and airy room can be booked out free of charge.
Catering options are available too, if you require it. Bookings require 24 hour advanced notice and can be made by calling 01289 302383.
Coach trips – the perfect place for a welcome break…
Berwick Garden Centre is the perfect place to stop off for coach trips, due to its location just off of the main A1 road.
Located just off of the main A1 road, with a 180 seat cafe, and ample free designated coach parking spaces.
Browse souvenirs from around the area in our gift department, as well as locally sourced produce in our onsite Farm Shop.
