Our newest garden centre of our group…

Plantsplus started off life back in the 60s, as a small nursery growing tomatoes, fruit and cut flowers. We purchased Plantsplus in 2016 and now, 50+ years on, it’s one of the fastest growing garden centres in the area. We continue to expand the facilities, range and offering year after year.

Our onsite restaurant continues to flourish, offering delicious homemade dishes using the finest, local quality produce. Our most recent developments include the addition of our pets & aquatics centre. As well as our farm shop, which is complete with our own onsite butcher – Northumberland Family Butchers.

Surrounded by the stunning countryside that Northumberland has to offer. You’ll find us located in Seaton Burn, just over 10 minutes away from Newcastle Airport and just a few miles from the main A1 road.

Sunday: 10:00am – 4:00pm

Our Restaurant

Our restaurant was built in 2018, focusing on creating a light and airy space for our loyal customers to enjoy a delicious homecooked and hearty meal. Seating up to 160 people, you can expect to find a menu filled with the finest local products the area has to offer.

The outdoor patio seating area is available to use during the warmer weather, so you can enjoy your lunch overlooking our stunning plant area. We also have an onsite play park for children to enjoy.

Our plant nursery

Plants are the heart of Plantplus, they’re what started all of this for us, and they’re what we do best.

Our huge on-site plant nursery operates throughout the full year, ensuring that we have top quality stock for our customers, all year round.

During the summer months we have our famous hanging baskets and towards Christmas time we have our stunning festive wreaths.

Our onsite butcher

Within our Farm Shop you will find the award-winning, Northumberland Family Butchers.

Established in 2022, butcher Michael and his team hold over 30 years of experience within the industry. All meat is locally sourced and hand picked to ensure our customers are getting the best of the best.

You can expect to find all of the classics; burgers, steaks and chops. But what NFB are well known for, are their wacky flavour sausages such as rhubarb & custard and strawberry & cracked black pepper – trust us, they work. Try them and see!
