Garden Centre

The garden centre that started it all. Purpose built in 1983, we started our journey as a small plant nursery, supplying plants from a single greenhouse.

Over the years the business has grown into a well-known, multi-department garden centre – home to a two-storey restaurant and our pets and aquatics centre.

Due to the success of this site, we were able to add to our family of garden centres; Dunbar Garden Centre and Plantsplus Garden Centre.

Mon-Sat: 9:00am – 6:00pm
Sunday: 10:30am – 4:30pm

Dunbar
Garden Centre

Dunbar Garden Centre first opened its doors in 2013 and, in doing so, became the second in our group of three family-owned garden centres. This site is purpose built; the large space and open surroundings were perfect for the construction of a large garden centre.

It is now a multi-departmental centre, complete with a large 200 cover restaurant. Known for its delicious homemade bakes and fresh food, the restaurant is thriving with an excellent reputation.

Plantsplus Garden Centre

Plantsplus started off life back in the 60s, as a small nursery growing tomatoes, fruit and cut flowers. We purchased Plantsplus in 2016 and now, 50+ years on, it’s one of the fastest growing garden centres in the area. We continue to expand the facilities, range and offering year after year.

Our onsite restaurant continues to flourish, offering delicious homemade dishes using the finest, local quality produce. Our most recent developments include the addition of our pets & aquatics centre. As well as our farm shop, which is complete with our own onsite butcher – Northumberland Family Butchers.
