Let’s Talk Plants – Saturday 28th February, 10:00am – 10:30am

Join us for our first ever session of our adult’s gardening club. This is a demo-lead, informal chat with our plant team. During this session we will be focusing on the art of pruning; why, when, and how to do it without fear.

Easter Fun – Easter Monday, 6th April, all day

The Easter Bunny will be hopping around the garden centre, ready to spread smiles and pose for photos. Little ones can also take part in our free Easter trail, searching high and low for clues hidden around the garden – complete the trail to be in with the chance of winning an Easter hamper!

Let’s Talk Plants – Saturday 9th May, 11-11:30am

Let’s Talk Plants is a relaxed, grown-ups-only, demo-lead gardening club where curiosity is encouraged.

This session we will focus on hanging baskets; a live demonstration on how to our top tips on how to plant up a basket. Learning about what plants work well together, colour combinations and how to keep them blooming to their full potential – perfect for beginner and keen gardeners alike.

Budding Botanists, Wednesday 27th May, 10:30-11:30am

Join us for a hands-on Children’s Gardening Club where young gardeners will explore planting for pollinators!

During this session the children will learn about pollinators, why they’re important and look through our plant area to spot some pollinator friendly plants. They will then plant up their own pollinator friendly plant to take home.

Budding Botanists, Monday 31st August, 10:30-11:30am

Join us for a hands-on Children’s Gardening Club where young gardeners will explore wildlife in our gardens!

During this session, the children will learn the importance of protecting wildlife within our gardens. They will make their own bug hotels and make some art using dried leaves. Followed by a scavenger hunt in our plant area.

Let’s Talk Plants, Saturday 12th September, 10:30-11am

Let’s Talk Plants is a relaxed, grown-ups-only, demo-lead gardening club where curiosity is encouraged.

In this step-by-step demonstration, you’ll learn how to layer spring-flowering bulbs in one container to achieve a vibrant, succession of blooms from late winter through spring. We’ll cover choosing complementary bulbs, correct planting depths, soil preparation, and seasonal aftercare to ensure the best results.

This session we will focus on houseplants. We will discuss the benefits of having houseplants, our top care tips and also choosing the right houseplant for your space. It’s also a great time to ask any burning houseplant queries you have.
